I've been looking for a Dansco 7070 to give as a gift, and having the same problem as everyone else- they aren't available, and no one knows when the new one is coming out.
BUT, I discovered that Littleton used to sell Dansco's with the Littleton name on them, so if you watch ebay for "Littleton type set album" and jump on the brown one (not the newer green one)it is a Dansco 7070, just says "Littleton" in small letters on the bottom of the spine and inside the back cover and has the kind of cool addition of descriptive heavy paper pages between the coin pages describing all of the coins. It comes with the gold page. Front type embossing and spine are identical to the regular Dansco.
I just picked one up on ebay for about $5 plus $5 shipping.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago after looking for about a month. Saw one other in that time frame, it went for I think about $25, I only bid $20 on that one. They are not a current Littleton offering, so you are watching for used albums, but the one I picked up looks to have never had a coin in it. Spine is same as the regular Dansco except in tiny print at the base where the Dansco says 7070, this one says LT-7070 and then has Littleton Coin Company in tiny print under that.

I tried Googling LT-7070 and got "The Wonder Hangar"!

Since joining CCF I've been bitten by the 7070 bug. I have about half of the coins needed to fill her up but the 7070's aren't available right now.

I'm trying to be patient and wait for the update to come out but at least now I know I have a fall back option if my patience runs out. Thanks for the heads up.

Bob

I'm doing a US type set in a binder... That means that I can include coins not in the 7070 (like the Seated Liberty plain coins and the Type 3 Standing Liberty quarter)

Bryan1315, the last one sold for just shy of $80 with shipping. Looks to me if you want a nice one, you will have to pay $$$$!
