A number of years ago my wife called me quite excited from her school. At this school they charged students 10cents for using the unmanned copier. My wife had the chore of rolling the receipts of the day. This day she found that a student tried using a penny they had.....it worked and I guess they were quite satisfied. Below is the cent they used, that my wife found while rolling the dimes.

paid about 275.00 for a 1997 cccs ms 64 penny on dime a couple years ago, wrong planchets on contrasting colors are nice.

The student thought he saved 9 cents, but lost so much more. That's a very nice suprise :)
