Hi guys,
I have found a few 2012 pennies with a mark from Lincolns mouth to the edge of the coin....also on these coins there appears damage on the other side near the rim above the 'N' in United States.
Are they anything to care about?
Here's a couple of pictures.

That is certainly something up with the die. Any chance of getting a clearer pic?

Does there look like there is raised metal , more of a recessed metal or no difference in metal?

Hi thanks for your replies.....
Here are a few more pictures....The line looks like a shiny line that could be polished off, like a dirty coin that has a drag that makes the drag look cleaner, if this helps :)
But everyone of them has the damage on reverse at the N.
I found 10 of these in 4 rolls.
Thanks.
Wiz

Looks like a small Cud above the N. I've seen similar streaks reported on quarters, but can't remember if there ever was a good explanation.
