Is this a fluke or are these things really going for this much? A tube of 50 went for over $700 last month on ebay. Man I'm really kicking myself for not buying more of these when I had the chance. I own a few of these but I don't know if I should hold them or sell if the market is this hot? What would you guys do?

They're beloved of some very specifically focused, dedicated collectors, and they do comand the prices that they command, but...

Selling what you have of these right now while silver spot is down to a four-month low is probably not what I'd suggest.

I'd ride it out with them until spot gets back up--even if that's almost forever. After all--from what you said, you're not sitting on a
mountain of them. Under any circumstance, it's going to be your choice. Best of luck with whatever you choose to do.

As much as I like Engelhard, I never have spent $ on fractional silver no matter who the brand (E/JM)- perhaps if you plan to buy low and flip quick for cheaper bullion (while keeping a few) then yes. But I just can't justify paying the premium on those tiny pieces. Beauty is in the eye of the stacker. Good luck.

They were only made in 1985. I have a couple sets of the four (1/10,1/25,1/2 and 1ozt) they do command quite the premium.

Well I own a roll and a couple loose ones, I think I paid around $200 for the roll and that was when silver was closing in around $40. I'm just amazed how much of a premium these little pieces have at the moment, crazy stuff hehe.
