Why is the 1892-s Barber half valued so high? I have one in AG/G condition. I probably paid around 20 dollars or so for it 10 years ago. The mintage figures are not really low for this coin, but this coin is one of the highest priced coins in the series in low circulated grades. Anyone have any ideas why?

It's hard to say. There are coins that, even though the mintage figures don't seem to be significantly small, are simply difficult to find. This makes their value skyrocket.

The coin that you have is now probably worth upwards of $60. If you look on ebay at completed auctions, you will only see 16 ended in the last 30 days. You would think that there would be more of them out there.
