i think I finally found my first double die. Even looking at the pictures of an example of the 1982P-1DO-001 on coppercoins, I have a problem seeing the doubling. Comparing this coin to the example it looks pretty good in the bottom left of the W, as well as the bottom of the G. I also see a little bit above the LI in liberty.... am I just seeing things? or did I finally find my first DD?

The 82's are known for worn dies. When you find an 82 DD, there will be no doubt.

Did not know there was an '82 error. Well, considering I have all my 82's in a Jar until I get a sorter (hoarding coppers)....guess it's time to have a look...

Must be a mighty big jar.If you looked at $100 worth in an hour and a half,I'd say you missed something.
