Not really familiar with the series, and not many auction results on heritage.....what do you think would be fair price to pay on this one?

Just glancing at Numismedia and ebay I'd say $150 With coins like these personal preference comes in to play (eye appeal) and price may go beyond FMV.

. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the coloring on this one, although normally I do like the woodgrain effect on coppers

PCGS placed a $120 value on it. http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/16173665/CAC agreed with the grade given. I don't care for the color myself either...others may have a bid war on it.

Actually I'm not a fan of this one. I think it has a huge thumb print on it.

For some reason, I don't find this example appealing.
I'd bid no more than a single 100$ bill.

The striated planchet toning does not bother me, but the partial print on the reverse is disturbing. Truly, it would depend upon the "why" of the MS62 grade more than anything else with respect to value. In other words, did the coin receive the grade because of perceived negative eye appeal or light hairlines or some tough to image dings, etc...

Are Two Cent Pieces that popular, seems you can get them cheap in lower grades. I don't know about uncirculated grades though, they attract a different buyer.

Not that popular but also not that common especially in Higher grades. Keep in mind that a large percentage of the mintage was returned to the mint and melted. Also look at the time they were produced. There was a need for almost any kind of coin and most of these circulated heavily there were few people who could afford to put uncirculated examples aside. There are plenty available in lower grades as you pointed out but get above EF and finding nice examples is a challenge. Back to the coin there would appear to be doubling on the Left of the Motto ribbon the rest my eyes can't even deduce if its a Plain Five or Fancy Five. There is No serif on the D which leads me to suspect its a fancy five as this is more common on this variety. If it is just a regular MS62 then $120 to $130 could be expected. the two pictures show different coloring and I suspect the coin is a lot darker. If it is a double Die then it could command a premium depending on which one it is.
