My first purchase of the New Year brings in an upgraded Three Cent Nickel to my slabbed 7070 collection. What do you think ANACS had to say about it?

Thank you for your interest!

AU-58 details (looks like post mint damage on reverse at 9-10 O'Clock. Seems to be a very weak strike also.

I'm at mid AU 55-58. Not sure if that is a Cud. To me it looks like a piece of the planchette chipped off. Hard to tell from the pictures. I think I see some Longacre doubling in America and definitely see a clash on the reverse. Is is slightly off center? Hard to tell with the shadow.

Nice!

Is that a giant Cud on the reverse or something else?

Interesting. Planchet, I think - look at the corresponding area on the obverse. Maybe a detached lamination?

That is probably the one thing that I did not like about the older ANACS holders...smaller, thinner coin edges can get lost in the insert or tilted.

Interesting. Planchet, I think

Is that because of how deeply dug in it looks compared to floating opn the surface like Cud?

I say AU55
