What strikes me about this coin is that the planchet is so nice and round. Would this type of coin normally be found that way? Report this Post to the Staff

dougsmit Pillar of the Community United States 1549 Posts	Posted 01/04/2013 8:36 pm The left photo is upside down. Usually people put that side on the right and call it the reverse. I only have two of these and do not pretend to know all the reasonable variations. I am not a fan of the very small cista inside the oddly non-specific leaves. I do not recall one with that much blank field around the cista. The other side seems better but I'd not buy it unless it was from a dealer I think knows better than I do and is trustworthy. $300 if real? Melt value $15 otherwise? Report this Post to the Staff
