I believe most of you know how the football squares work. I will put the squares on paper numbered 1 - 100 starting left to right, We will need 100 players and everyone will pick 1 square. Once all the squares are gone (hopefully in a day or so), If for some reason there are squares left 48 hours prior to the start of the game , then the first members to post a 2nd number of choice will receive an extra square until they are gone. Lisa will pick the numbers using 20 cards from a deck of playing cards. The 20 cards will be A - 10 (A=1 10=0. I will use 2 suits. Spades will represent one team & diamonds will represent the other. The winner will be decided with final score. This contest will be open to all members. Stay tuned for further updates. Do not pick any numbers until I post back with the teams to play. What does the number we pick have to do with the cards you draw? Especially if there are 100 squares and only 20 cards?

All you need to do is pick a square number once Chris posts back with the teams to play. Once the squares are all picked (the board is full), Chris will have Lisa use the cards to randomally pick the numbers. The last digit of each teams final score will indicate the square that wins (in the sample I posted, if you picked square 14 and the final score is AFC 20, NFC 10 you win). You don't need to worry about the cards as they are just used as a fair method to randomally pick the numbers on the board. It's hard to explain but I hope this helps!

As a Jags fan who is engaged to a Ravens fan I have to assume the Ravens are going to the Super Bowl this year.

I'm in... but don't we need to pick a number now? Or do we wait until later? I thought we needed to pick a number BEFORE you do your random thing?
