Hello Bing et al, healthy discussion here. I will answer you with one comment that may help you understand a bit better. In regards to this comment:

Quote:
It would seem to me that all members need to be made aware of whatever another member does to be censured/banned, or we are doomed to repeat it.

In a word, "No". The reason is clear if you would have completely interpreted my first post or Admin's. Five times at a minimum he was warned by various staff members. That's the part folks are missing. If you do something that breaks our rules, we will remove it and leave you with a note of some kind either in your post or privately. If you do it a second time we will again help you with understanding the rules. A third time, we start to get a little irked. Usually by this point you will have had a small vacation. 5 times. let that sink in. That's why there is no discussion on why and what exactly he did. The simple fact that he did it 5 times after be warned on the first time should be enough for EVERYONE to understand and just drop it.

tights24: I think possibly you misunderstood my comments. I was thanking you for your explanation, but was rather upset with the curt way in which "Admin" made it's declaration "Future mentions of this will result in posts posts being immediately removed"

While I acknowledge the authority, I would just expect a little courtesy in return. A simple explanation such as your original post suffices.

You're right. This thread kinda got high jacked. The x6 coin is a real beauty isn't it. Like I said, I would love to have it in my collection. This is typical for x6. He comes up with some of the nicest coins and makes me jealous.

Yeah...the detail on the portrait is fantastic! It's also easy to imagine the tools used to engrave the dies.
