Ukee, not an OBV crack. What I am looking for is a REV crack. Designated Rev-003. Thank you Ukee

This one's been nagging at me for a while now. I actually have two of these. Both ICCS MS60. I've gone over them with a microscope and can't find anything that looks like a definite die crack to me. Your posting prodded me to get on Google where, after a while, I found a couple listed in a 2010 auction http://www.pdfio.com/k-2439677.html# which is described as 'Doubling Voyageur and Indian' instead of the 'Die Crack' description included in Charlton 2012. One of my coins shows definite doubling along the bottoms of the arms and the other might be showing it but not as strongly. Maybe this is a mistake in Charlton?

Mine has it on both the Voyageur on the left and the Indian on the right.

p.s. I have a couple more that aren't labelled. On at least one I also see doubling under the chins.

Maybe someone else in the forum would know exactly what to look for Rev-003. I did some web browsing and gone over the coins with the loop. Could not really find the die Crack. I dont know if doubling is considered die crack.

No. Doubling is not die crack. That's why I'm wondering if Charlton has it wrong. Maybe add ' - Charlton mistake?' to the topic title to see if you can get some attention? :-)

I asked another coin collector here in Ottawa who is a contributor to Charlton. Here is his response:
Charlton, 60th edition, 2006, back section is dedicated to silver dollars. 1935 Rev-003, Doubling " Voyageur and Indian" It is also referenced as Zoell no R501g There is a picture featured that clearly shows the doubling of the elbows of both passengers. As suspected, there is a typo in the 2012 Charlton.
