Very very cool! I've never seen one either! And I agree with everyone and yourself about leaving it in the roll...
Awesome find!

Can you tell if they are uncirculated? From your photo they end quarters appear dull. If they are uncirculated, that it a very nice find. I picked up a couple of rolls of uncirculated bicentennial halves a couple of months ago, but they were in plain wrappers but still nice uncirculated with plenty of luster and edges nice copper color.

Went back yesterday for the rest of the quarters at this bank. Pulled out around 50 BU State Quarters I will use to see if I can upgrade my 50 states album.

If you keep ATB Quarter original rolls, and if you release them into banks 40 years later, they will also create the same surprise as a current bicentennial roll.

I think the wrapper adds a nice premium to the roll, whether unc or not.

Based on what youve posted, I dont think its possible for you to get more boxes! Leave some for me!

Finding silver quarters is the best. Only thing better, obviously, is %90 halves.

Good call Petersun.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has not seen this wrapper. In my opinion, this wrapper makes the deal. I'd leave it sealed. Very cool. Thanks for sharing (notice, I didn't say bragging). Like jakeman406 said, I was 15 when these quarters made their appearance too. I rarely had enough to buy junk let alone a 10 dollar roll of quarters. I'd rather find a roll of silver but that would be something nice to add the my diversified collection. I'm going to look on ebay and see if there are any for sale. Not to buy but to educate myself for the future.

And here you go. One roll sold for 46 and then this roll a little cheaper:

Different wrapper. I wonder how many variations were made?

I found this one and am watching to see where the hammer falls: http://www.ebay.com/itm/22117417971....m1438.l2648

Also a different wrapper. I cannot find any more detailed info on the wrappers.
