This piece is 44.0 to 45mm across, and weighs 25 grams. It may be made of copper.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ormond crowns are commonly forged, multiple-strike, and the reverse can strike up weakly. So weakly as to not strike up at all?
There's something about this coin that I really, really like!

Any chance we could see the reverse, to see just how blank it is?

Well, the reverse design of Ormond money is pretty spare, but not that spare. May have one big Roman numeral, but I don't even see the shadow of one here.
