I have trouble with Morgans but I wonder if their fancy photography is backfiring in this instance. I have Morgans that photograph well but look much better in hand and wonder if that is what is going on here, especially since ANACS has designated it prooflike.

While I have heard of a lot of positive experiences with GSC, I would not buy from them due to the image editing they do. Just a thing that bugs me.

Look, on the plus side, if you have Morgans that look better than that, you can probably get more than they did with the right buyer.

The reverse looks like a 66 to me. I believe what you are perceiving as scratches are actually frost breaks and not into the metal. If the cheek mark was missing, this coin could go 66.

I certainly agree with the proof like and 65 is more than reasonable, I wouldn't go less than 64 for sure.
Great Morgan overall.
