I picked up my first "non-round" silver a couple days ago and wanted to play "show and tell". While this bullion piece does not state the fineness or weight, I think that it is "neat-o".

What do you think?

It is not bullion. It is a numis coin but it is a nice series. Out of all of the lunar series from RCM, I find this one is the nicest.

$100 postpaid. I saw a few listings on the "bay" for the original packaging and COA for a little bit more, but the seller and I go back a few transactions.

BTW: the hyperlink store is "Awaiting Stock".

I was amazed at the Canadian coin mintage increases shown in my new 2013 North American Coins & Prices. They are making a bundle on .9999 oz of silver. Pretty, but not for me. I can just visualize my LCS giving my wife spot or even less for these types of coins. Especially if it doesn't even identify bullion content.

It is not a bullion coin. It is a numismatic coin thus the premium over the spot price.

Yes, the coin is numismatic issue.

I also bought this one, but near it's issue date.
The Dragon is my year, and I amazed by the coin.

BTW, the previous Scallop issues - Tiger and the Rabbit were maid of .925 Silver, while starting from the Dragon, and now the Snake - they are from fine .9999 Silver.

Well couple of month ago, I decided to collect them all.
And the Tiger bought near the issue price, while the Rabbit is rare, and I got it with serious premium...
Anyway, I happy with this series - the use of the coin space just great on them!
