In the search bar, type each date separated by a comma and then enclose everything in parenthesis. It will look like this...
(1858, 1859, 1860, 1861, 1862, 1863)
Basically, you are telling the search engine to search for any of the terms within the parenthesis in any order. You can also do this if you click on Advanced Search. You can then save this search in your Saved Searches so you don't have to type all that again when you want to make the same search in the future.
You can also exclude terms from your search using the minus symbol. For example, if I wanted to search those dates, but I don't want to see quarters, you could exclude the term "quarter". It looks like this...
(1858, 1859, 1860, 1861, 1862, 1863) -quarter
You can exclude multiple terms if you separate them with a comma like this:
(1858, 1859, 1860, 1861, 1862, 1863) -quarter, -dime
There is a character limit in the search bar, so I don't know if you'll be able to search every date between 1858 and 1937 in one search. You may have to break it up into two searches. For example, make the first one for every date between 1858 to 1890. Then make another search for everything between 1890 to 1937. Then save these searches in your Saved Searches.
There are some pretty neat features in Advanced Search.
