Aside from it being a cleaned coin, I think this is one of the "prettiest" coins I have seen.

My specimen of this coin is both heavily worn and cleaned pink, too. It must be a common fate for these large copper coins.

I assume it says "Ceylon 5 cents". The symbol at 2 o'clock, beneath the C of "cents", is the Tamil numeral five.

The right side is definitely Sinhala, and probably says the same thing.
