The color may be inaccurate, but the blotchy pattern has me wondering if it was cleaned/toned? Sorry I couldn't help more. Report this Post to the Staff

Eklections Valued Member United States 171 Posts	Posted 01/15/2013 07:11 am I'm clearly not the expert here but the discoloration on the face appears to me like a finger print smudge. The photo makes it look more even than it does in hand. The discoloration on the back at 2,3 and 9 o'clock appear to be finger print marks as well. Report this Post to the Staff

I thought it was an easy ms grade but the consensus seems to be that the color was retouched and the coin is in AU condition. Blinded by the smooth fields and color but it looks like you all have identified the wear on the top feathers of the headdress which I completely overlooked. Any other inputs?
