Can someone tell me the difference between these two different PGCS labels that are used on Silver American Eagles? The one with the S$1 in the upper right hand corner and Eagle in the upper left seem to sell for less. The reverse PGCS symbols are also different, but I just thought I'd show the front first.
What the heck, here's the reverse. The design with the word Eagle in the upper left is the first image. It seems to be an older design.
They are both the same grade, so yea, it doesn't make much sense. I would think that the older style might contain earlier stuck coins, but that's not necessarily true. Maybe folks just like the fancier slabs. Go figure.
