Dear Louis,
I hope things are going well, and that you had a good holiday break and new years!
I would like to have my ICCS coins cross graded and hard slabbed to CCCS.
So I have a couple of questions for you. So even just quick answers under the questions would suffice as I know you are probably a busy person.
1. If I send in my already graded ICCS coins could you have them regraded and hard slabbed and "reference the ICCS grade on the holder"?
For example: " ICCS cert. #:xxxxx, grade: MS64"
This is what ICCS is doing with some of your already graded CCCS coins, so can you do this as well, as I see no reason to have them sent back to ICCS. If so what conditions are there?
2. Do you have plans to include a photo "secure plus "idea, similar to PCGS where they take a photo of the coin for additional reference? I see this becoming more important in the future as the population reports will no doubt become the over populated reports. The only caveat I see are the coins being subject to high resolution photograph, so minor imperfections that would not normally been visible under 10X, are now easily seen, which may reflect lower grades. hmm
thanks and I appreciate your response.
kind regards,
Ed
