1966 SMS Doubled Die - Profile - Fairly Dramatic

I was not familiar with this Doubled Die but when looking through a few 1966 SMS it jumped out at me. I believe it is listed in Coneca as a DDO-001. I thought this was a pretty dramatic doubled die though minor on the date and motto. Interesting piece.

Hmmm.... we just gave one of those sets away to a lucky kid at the FUN show. Never checked it.

These would be early or early middle die state attributes.

Description: Strong spread on profile including nose, eye, ear, and designer's initials with medium CW rotation on LIB of LIBERTY, and light spread on IN GOD WE

Population: 14

Markers: UVC-075, DMR-003

Stage A: Short die gouge South from upper L of LIBERTY â€" EMDS

Horizontal die scratch above eagle's Right (viewer's Left) leg â€" EMDS

Minor split serifs in stars under OF AMERICA and CA of AMERICA
