Those are pretty cool, The Rushmore is a unique take on it.

Wow. Look at the doubling in the lower left one. Serious spread on that firework explosion!

Very nice! They did a nice job on the proofs, the designs on paper just look ok, in proof they have been improved 100%. Thanks for sharing.

Mine just came in this week to, very beautiful. I buy two of each of everything I buy from the mint. Hopefully they will help my children pay for college someday.

I absolutely love this series... thanks for sharing! The Great Basin is my fave... but I am a bit of a tree lover!

Quote: the designs on paper just look ok, in proof they have been improved 100% Mount Rushmore improved the most from drawing to actual Silver Proof, and they did need to do something different than the straight-on view used on the 1991 Commemoratives and the 2006 South Dakota Quarter). My favorites are the White Mountain and Great Basin.

We got ours today. I still find them all to be rather blech. OK, the Rushmore is pretty cool, but the others are pitiful. Had they actually used the moose design choice on the White Mountain, THAT would have been the best one. This...it's a mountain landscape. Looks just like anything that painter guy with the beard that spoke like Mr Rogers would have done on his show. Here's hoping next year gets back on track. Oh, DNA, got the set dude. Thanks for the extras! VACookey loved them.

Got mine yesterday as well. Perrys Victory actually looks better than I thought it would, I'm less of a fan of the Rushmore having seen it now as well. Overall not as bad as I thought but still prefer the other years.

Agreed on the moose design, but Colorado's next year is even worse. They should have picked Mesa Verde National Park instead of the Sand Dunes. The immense scale of the Dune range can't be captured on a coin. Quote:VACookey loved them You're welcome!
