Ran across this rummaging through some old coins. Clearly looks to me like a DD but can find this variety for an S mintmark. Thoughts?

Hmmm...just found this 43S, again with no reference I can find of a DD. Beginning to think it just the way the coin was wore down? Sorry if these are noob questions.
