I'm not ready to pronounce this coin a fake, but in looking at other examples of Tyche from Arados, this one does not have the same artistic look to the facial features. Even Nike seems to lack the detail of the ones I saw on wildwinds. But, to repeat, I am not saying this is a fake. I really don't know for sure. Just some doubts.

Yeah...I'm not familiar enough with Phoenician coins, but those I saw on acsearch have a more refined, classical style to Tyche. The lettering on the reverse is pretty sloppy too. I'll put in a nay vote.

It's possible it's still ancient, but an imitative type produced somewhere else.
I have seen some imitative types from Bactria with similar workmanship.

That's a good possibility. How much would that change the value I wonder?

It looks more like a Bactrian than a Phoenician to me!

I agree with the options of ancient imitative or modern. The surfaces look modern to me.
It certainly isn't an ancient Phoenician.

Agreed coin does not look correct. Possible modern.

My dealer friend took this coin back, he's 100% guarantee, he works here and travels to England where he buy most of his coins.
He told me that he bought this coin in a auction. He feels its real and is going to sent it in, were ever that is..Thank you for the comments..
Our Show was a success, 99% of the dealers said they had strong sales...Which is nice to hear....
