Give him a day or two as I imagine all of this is pretty hard on him! Hopefully he will find his way here as we all have! Do hope Trantor makes the trip as well!

I just found Trantor's email address and have emailed him concerning Coin Peoples crash. Have given him our forums address and asked him to contact any members from Coin People, that he has addresses for, and let them know about this forum in an effort to get everyone back together on one great forum. Hopefully we will see some positive results in a few days and everyone will find a new home here!

Boy, really bad news! Stujoe's been around here lately so I'm sure he will let us know what's up once the dust settles. I'm sure he's got to be heart broken right about now & my thoughts go out to him.

Just got the news from Stu that's it's officially over, what a bummer, he really put a lot into coinpeople. It will be missed that's for sure.

This is like "Cheers" or your favorite bar closing. There is a empty feeling that I will miss a lot of folks from Coinpeople. Thankfully I've seen a few members here and at coincommunity.

If it is the competition that has taken Stujoe out then I hope this server has triple firewalls because it might be the next forum to be attacked by hackers

The competition thing crossed my mind also. I sure hope it isn't that. I wish I had been smart enough to collect email addresses before, or at the very least write down the home addresses in a book. Let me throw out an idea for anybody willing to answer. Would it be so bad if I were to post my email address here, remove my email security blocker for a few days, and hopefully folks will respond. I can put them on the safe list, and just delete all of the garbage that will appear. what do you think.and thank you.

It's a real sad day when someone like Stu who has put so much into coins and his website is now having to throw in the towel. I hope he moves to other sites since his knowledge is very valuable and his personality is such a plus.

I'm just heartbroken for Stu. It makes me want to cry when I think of the amount of work he's put into that site. I wish there was something I could do for him. Why can't the hackers get real jobs and leave us honest folks alone?! They might be clever enough to hack into a system, but they are pretty stupid not to put their talents to work in a constructive way.

Well, I have been on the hunt for site hackers since I been in the intertnet, they develop viruses and or try to take over your puter and or send fake emails to gather info and passwords to enter your paypal account, or your ebay and your bank accounts--These slime balls have no honor, are the lowest form of scum on the internet & waste there fine talents being thieves wannabees and in general are the low lifes in our modern world-- As I catch them, I exterminate them so they do not do any further harm---but they are slick cockroaches, you step on 1 and squish his ars, and many little ones take off running-- --So being an exterminator for these useless peices of sheet is a full time job. Stu will show up, I know how the CP people feel, it was the same feeling we had @ CoinWorlds forum when they closed it down, altho at that place CW shut it down, it was not taken out by lowlife hackers--So I do feel bad for those CP dudes, they are most certainly welcomed here I am sure--Many hopefully will find there way here, those who have can let there friends know where they are will join. Just Like I went to CT, I then found this more mature site when susan & bobby started it up, those peeps will find there way here.. Finally I will say, susan & bobby, I sure hope you 2 have good anti-hacker stuff protection at this site, the loser who took out CP is still out thar--

I spent some time on Coin People because it was a very diverse group and I am still learning about those foreign (darkside) coins that I have learned to love! The only part I did not like about CP was they were showing fantastic old coins faster than I could aquire them! There is a ton of world knowledge on CP and to have them all here would indeed be a blessing. Hope they make they journey over here!
