I wonder what she plans to do with the cash when she gets his collection sold!

That is why you always store your coin collection in the closet next to her shoes. My 5oz silver hockey puck next to her $150 boots ............

Wow. Just wow. Can't think of a witty thing to say here - I can't imagine doing that to my hubby or him to me. Hopefully this is a marketing ploy.

I know a fellow collector whose long time partner made the serious mistake of referring to his collection as "your inventory." He's happily single now.

My wife is okay with my hobby.
I make my money and she makes hers.

an interesting question might arise if hubby didn't consent to the sale. That would then be theft by her, and the buyer would have notice, and no reason to resist an action for recovery by hubby.
She sounds vindictive: I suppose that she won't be surprized if he takes the first opportunity to liberate himself.

Assuming this is genuine and not a funny marketing ploy....
The coin(s) are stolen property and remain so even when paid for by the buyer. The buyer is highly likely to lose the coins in any legal action, especially since the text in the ad makes it clear how the coins have been obtained. It makes it harder for the buyer to claim an innocent purchase for value.

Maybe it is the romantic in me but I truly hope this is a marketing ploy.
