Need A Grade On A Washington 1941-D

Was hoping for a higher AU but you were pretty well on the last one. biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 01/30/2013 01:10 am The lighting is very diffuse which will mellow out the appearance of the surfaces but I am struggling to find anything resembling wear. With that said, I am strongly leaning to a fully Mint State coin but it could be anywhere from AU58-MS65. Report this Post to the Staff

What I'm really happy about is no one mentioned anything about scratches from cleaning, polishing, etc. Neither one of the two coins I put up for grading recently have not had any remarks about cleaning, etc. I have one more coming up for grading and if it passes your inspection I may send them off to be graded by PCGS or NGC. Jon K Pillar of the Community United States 723 Posts	Posted 02/22/2013 11:12 pm Little hits on the L in Liberty and the 1 in the date. Clean fields on the obverse. Looks like light contact marks on the portrait. The reverse is nice. Strong breast feathers, and the feathers on the legs are good. If there are any hairlines I can't see them. If it is an AU, I would call it 58. If the luster is intact I might call a 64 or so. IMHO What sort of setup are you shooting with? Edited by Jon K 02/22/2013 11:14 pm Report this Post to the Staff
