1996 polar bear was the normal circulation toonie for that year so they are not rare. 1999 is rare because the polar bear was only in mint sets, all of the circulation ones were a Nunavut commemorative design.

I haven't been roll hunting for very long so my results might not be that impressive... Cdn: 1938 George VI Penny U.S: 1936 Wheat centWhen I was back in grade school I once dug up a VERY worn quarter while camping that we couldn't make the date out on but we could barely make out Victoria on the other side. Unfortunately silver wasn't worth much back then, so we pretty much gave it away :(

1983 DDRHere's the thread https://goccf.com/t/125793Sadly, my greatest collecting find goes hand in hand with my greatest mistake. I have lost this coin.

Oldest in roll: 1919-D LWC. Oldest in change: 1904 V nickel (date barely legible). Oldest miscellaneous find: a 1910 LWC fell out of a Geocache when I found it. (Anyone else know what Geocaching is?)
