1911 wheat is my oldest find I think. Most interesting would be Proof Eisenhowers that someone for some reason sold to a bank at face!

Oldest found: 1918 LWC, 1936 Washington quarter, 1940 Jefferson nickel. Most interesting: 1913(S I think) LWC in G-3 (my guess). Given to me from someone else. I also discovered recently I have a 1980S SBA dollar. Nothing too special, but there's something I like about S-mint coins.

I did most of my hunting from 2008-2011 when I worked as a cashier. I got married last year as well as a desk job, and haven't had the time (or money) to hunt lately. However, most of my best finds were actually at my old job.
Oldest:
Penny: 1916-S (old lady spending coin jar on groceries), 1941 (Canadian) Nickel: 1891, 1927 (Canadian) Dime: 1946 (different customer) Quarter: 1964 (change for a purchase) Half: 1936 (given to cashier next to me, and I bought it from her)
Most interesting:
Penny: Non-magnetic 2006 Canadian (I heard these are rare?) Nickel: 1996P/1973D magician coin, live bug that fell out of a roll and scurried around before being squished. Dime: 1996 worn down so much that poor FDR looked like he had a peanut allergy Quarter: Nothing special, some grease errors Half: Some proofs and NIFC's, nothing special.
And a fun story: When I first started my job, there was this lady who was infamous for being quarrelsome (to put it nicely!) when she felt that she was not being waited on hand and foot. She came through my line one day, and didn't give me enough money for her purchase--about a dollar short. She bluntly told me that she wasn't paying the remainder, and I bluntly told her that I wouldn't finish the transaction until she did. She rolled her eyes and gave me something she was sure would short-circuit my puny college student mind--the biggest coin she had in her purse and one that probably wasn't even legal tender--a gold-toned AU '64 half dollar! It was in my pocket before she was even out the door.

CGC, I figure some thug stole a coin collection and decided to just put it in an easy access coin machine, happy to get face value. I tried hard to get the bank to sell me the bags on the machine. Even offered to come back when the bags were full. The machine kicked it out of the reject tray because it wouldn't pass as any of the circulated coinage.
