I'm in the UK and would love to join the md hobby. Does anyone know where I might find a good detector here in the UK. I'm more than willing to go used, but even Gumtree listings are rather high. Does anyone in the UK have an idea where to buy cheaper? I would like an Ace 350 or a 250. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I also have been looking for a detector -I once saw a Garrett Ace 250 for £30 but was too slow to get it.

I think ebay is too pricey - but it shows it holds value. I reckon carboot sales are going to be the place to go for this kind of thing - I bet you could get one for a tenner.

I'm hoping so. I can't wait for the boot sales to get started again. Where did you see the 250 at? It's a shame that you missed that one.

I believe that was a gumtree ad (it was a classified ad either way)
