I have discovered a number of what appear to be tokens following the recent death of a family member.

The tokens? feel heavier than plastic and are almost opaque. They could also be mother of pearl. The edges are serrated and each has what appear to be an oriental person and the other side shows an animal or a bird.

I have 12 different rectangular, 5 round and 1 squarer token.

Any advice or information would be appreciated.

I remember playing with something like these as a child and they were mother-of-pearl. They're often described as Siamese gambling chips/tokens but I'm not sure how accurate that is.
