Tsar Peter Alexeivich, sole rule. Date off flan (date would be below the horse in Cyrillic), mint also off flan, but it is one of two mints in Moscow. Top scan is almost upside down. You can see "Peter" right in the center line, and "Tsar" right above it, no Ivan to go with it, so it's the sole rule of Peter.

jcmworld,
I'd like to have that book, too, but your profile seems not to allow people to PM you.

Fixed. Didn't realize that was turned off.

I have an electronic copy of "Determinant of the Obverses of the Wire Kopecks of Tsar Peter Alexeivich" by Grishin and Kleshchinov. It's in Russian but it is the standard for these issues. Despite the title they type the reverses as well. I did a translation in 1995 but I only have two or three copies and the proofs hiding out in a box somewhere.
It has been incorporated into their larger series works on Russian coinage of Ivan IV-Peter which are suposedly better than Melnikova. I like Melnikova's die combination charts better than the die pair presentation in KG. It's just a little easier to use. Otherwise you're stuck flipping through pages and pages in KG.
