Need Help Attributing This 72-D Lincoln

Peaceman Valued Member United States 434 Posts	Posted 02/02/2013 4:15 pm Having a difficult time finding an identifier. Looked at all of the coins on Coppercoins.com and none match up. It appears this coin is a DDO which includes Machine Doubling (Note the tip of the 2 in the date. I don't think it's a triple die. Note the die gouge on the S in STATES too. Indian1 Pillar of the Community United States 3640 Posts	Posted 02/03/2013 10:19 am I don't think the m.m. position is correct for the 002. Only other known that it matches is the 005. But other markers ? Reverse dies are changed though so who knows. Need more pics. on the 005 to check for sure. Maybe a new one, maybe not. A combination of a DDO along with some MD is also possible.
