I don't like the 1oz size for gold, but the .99999 Maple Leaf (in card, any year) is an exception to my rule :) Following that:
Buffalo
Eagle
Kruggerand

Finally! I was wondering why the Britannia wasn't getting any love. As far as appearance goes I think it's tough to beat.

Was looking at buying AGE or Krug but after being exposed to all the other bullion coins the Britannia might bump one of these two down the list.

No one has mentioned the Australian gold nugget or Kangaroo coins.
They are legal tender, and .9999

The only bullion coin I have is a 1oz. Pt Koala. (.9999, $100 legal tender). I bought it because I liked the design.
