Today at work, I found a foreign coin and I'm not sure where it's from. It sorta has a liberty like image and is 1 franc and dated 1985. Also on the obverse it says Republique Francaise. On the reverse, it says Liberte Egalite Fraternite. Any ideas on what this is?

France would be my guess. Of course I know as much about foreign coins as I do about the moon, so don't take my word for it

Is this worth anything? I thought it was an interesting find though.

There were 7,002,000 one franc coins made by France in 1985. It is listed at $2.00 in unc. Hope this helps.
