Delivery Confirmation has NEVER provided protection or a guarantee that your coins will get to where you send them. DC is totally worthless because all it does is verify that the package was delivered "somewhere". It does NOT confirm that it was delivered to the address it was sent to. frankly no one would use DC except for one thing. If an ebay seller is shipping a package less than $200, they DON'T buy DC, and the package goes astray, it is an automatic win for the buyer if he makes a claim. If he does buy DC it is an automatic win for the seller if the buyer claims non-delivery even if it never gets to the buyer.
As far as a security feature for mail delivery DC is and always has been a joke.
