I am very new to this forum and coins in general. So I need a lot of help.

I have some Morgan silver dollars that I have begun to research and I'm unsure of how to read the value charts.

When I look at the value/grading charts, I see that there are two charts. One is PF and the other is MS. There are differences in pricing.

Can you tell me what they are and what the initials stand for?

PF= proof; the coin was minted as a proof, with specially prepared dies.
MS= (not really sure exactly what the initials stand for, 'mint strike'?) aka 'business strike'; the workhorse dies, no special handling.

PF = Proof
MS - Mint State.
Also, there are these in the Morgan Series:
PL = Proof Like
DMPL = Deep Mirror Proof Like

Welcome to Coin Community, SueColas.

Be aware, in most cases these "value" charts are only approximations, good for relative values between individual years but not necessarily reflective of real-world prices achieved by actual coins. Some of them are....optimistic indeed.

Furthermore, grade is (as you might be noticing) the outstanding characteristic of defining a coin's value. This is a skill you're going to have to acquire in order to get the best feel for your coins' worth. We will be more than happy to help you walk this path, but the best images you can offer will be imperative. Please feel free to post some of these coins here; we can help you both with information about the coins themselves, and with the process of getting high-quality images of them.

! I couldn't agree more with what SsuperDdave said. There is a whole section devoted to both Morgans and Photography that will prove to be helpful to you.

I look forward to seeing your future posts.

Thank you, everyone for the warm welcome and information. I will try to get some good photos in the next few days. I have a handful of Morgans, a couple of Peace dollars my aunt gave me as a kid (60s) every Christmas. I guess that was common, from what I have read. I appreciate all of you helping with this.
