I found a 2012 penny that I think might be an error. The edge of it is thicker in some spots and gets thin in other spots. It has not been bent or anything like that. Is this an error? If so, what would the name for it be?

We can't determine an error if theres no pictures. Also this would get better attention in the 'Modern Coins' and then 'Modern US Variety and Error Coins.'

Sorry, it is actually a 2000 D penny instead of a 2012.
