As far as interesting, relevant reference sites about this particular coin is concerned, I haven't been able to find anything. You can find a few for sale, like this one on Heritage, but that's all. All the really interesting-sounding links I found in my google-surfing were broken.

Places like Wikipedia only have very general information on the coinage. If there's anything more specific out there, it's in Dutch.

Did you have any particular question about this coin? We might be able to help.

The Dutch "Money Museum" (www.geldmuseum.nl) has two of those in its online collection. The only (minimal) difference seems to be the weight. Hope these links work:

http://83.149.77.24:8080/collectie_...id=46&-find=

If not, you can try the search page here ...
http://www.geldmuseum.nl/web/show/id=45262
... and enter, say, 1820 as the search term.

Hi, Thank you very much for helping, all the links were useful. I'm looking for the exact weight of this coin and the meaning of the inscription around the rim of this particular coin which reads GOD*ZY*MET*ONS, I found out it means "God be with us".
Thank you very much for helping Sap and Chrisild :)

The Krause catalogue lists the weight of KM#49 at 39.29 grams of 0.893 fine silver. CV (2004 4th ed.) is $250 in Fine.

"God zij met Ons" is still the motto that appears around the edge of higher-denomination Dutch coins. You'll find it on the rim of the Dutch 2 euro. Note also that the Dutch language is quite flexible in spelling there; "ij" and "ÿ" are interchageable. I assume the theory is that letters which look the same should be pronounced the same!
