In my opinion, though, most of those suggestions were just trying to be diverse for the sake of being diverse. Trains are pretty neutral, though. But I have no problem with more Aboriginal art being portrayed publically because we are extremely ignorant of their culture.
The problem with Canada is that everyone is a minority, and if you show one minority then you risk upsetting the other one thousand minorities. This is why I think most bills show landscapes, animals, machines, and buildings and not real people. (Government doesn't count as real people *snicker*!)
