I did put it in olive oil since yesterday, but it still looks the same, so I guess the "1 year to clean" joke wasn't a joke after all...

So after getting it out of the olive oil how do you rid it of all the oil?

Should I put it inside a bag of rice and this will suck all the oil out or what should I do with it to drain it from all the oil?

Coin tosser - you need to emulsify the last of the oil. I usually pat the oil off with a paper towel and then use soap and water to get the last off.

An nope...the year in oil is no joke...
