BRUCE 1947 Pillar of the Community United States 834 Posts	Posted 04/22/2007 7:53 pm The highest grade given so far by NGC is a ms-67 these things just do not look good, could be because it's new and having to put the date and mint mark on in the third step of minting them might be the reason. Morgan Fred Rest in Peace United States 2684 Posts	Posted 04/22/2007 9:00 pm with Bruce and will add that the GW is minted in such large numbers (300 million) so quickly that quality control may have suffered. It's also a bad design IMNSHO lending itself to downgrading. In the one roll of George's I bought, every single coin had scuff marks on it and would not have gone above MS-63. Fortunately, I bought the coins to spend. Expect the same from the John Adams issue, at least the first strikes. Fred Report this Post to the Staff
