Could this be the lead up "precursor" to the 2011 Leaf problem...maybe?

I don't think so -- your 2010's look like lamination flaws to me, while the 2011 looks like that weak strike effect.

Hi pennysaver

I thought maybe I was on to something there...seems that the "leaf issue" is more prevalent on the 2010 and 2011's than other "zinc core" years from what I've come across through the penny searches.
I appreciate your input into this...having a bit of fun and learning at the same time

Take care

Fun and learning are what it's all about, and you get more every day you're in this hobby. Did you manage to pick up any rolls from the bank before Feb 4? If so you'll still have lots of opportunity to hunt for errors.

Good-day pennysaver.

Feb. 4th was a sad day for my friend and I ..but we've collected so many different errors and put aside...it's going to take quite a while to sift through what we've found and sort those.

Hope you managed to get some and are having as much fun as we are.
Take care

Yes I did, thank you, change4. I managed to get a good number of boxes so I'll be able to search rolls for a few months yet. Hopefully there's a few treasures waiting for me there.
