A good coin dealer will give you a value on your coin. He then will tell you what he is able to pay you for it. Remember, they run a business reselling coins for a profit. He will also give you a grade based on , hopefully , his years of experience examining coins. He won't slab the coin for you and his grading will be his and only his estimate.
If you want a numismatically recognized grade, you need to have the coin submitted to one of the major grading services.
