I found my first 2006 no p/logo mag penny a few weeks back. I sent it in to ICCS with a cheque for $15.
I received a letter from them today with the ICCS service request, stating the grade and the total grading cost (which was shippig + others fees coming to 34.47, so I owe them 19.47)
BUT THERE IS NO COIN IN THE ENVELOPE !!! There is a stapled piece of paper saying "your coins are enclosed. The contents have been inspected and verified by,"
This was in a regular mail envelope, I'm quite worried, this is my first ICCS experience. Anyone ever had this happen?

It's never happened to me before and I've sent over 1000+ coins to I.C.C.S. in the past 15 years! Glenn

The letter is notification they have received your coins and that there isn't a problem. They will return your coin express post which you must sign for later. Because you are a new customer they will likely hold coin until you send postage. I'm guessing a little here but I always receive the letter before the coins.

trends at $360...although price probably closer to $200. I'm lucky to find this coin as it has great eye appear and got a RED, which helps in selling. I will be hanging on to this for a long time. I've got another one thats more tarnished and lower grade (probably ms-60/62) in a 2x2

You call it a "circulation find", but ICCS says it is uncirculated... Which is it?

Did you only mail the coin and a cheque why only $15.00? I am a little surprised your coin came back without payment in full.

SPP ... haha I guess we will never know. I was lucky enough to snag this one before it had a chance to get beaten up, altough it had 6 years to do that. The other one I foun is pretty decent as well, definitely not an MS-64 though.
bmoney I was surprised too, I thought when I got the letter it said amount owing $19.47 that id have to wait until I paid the full amount. Guess they trusted me, hehe. The second cheque is on its way.
