Hey,

Does anyone think that, with the next currency redesign for meaningful access should feature a large vertically placed low-vision numeral of its respective denomination on the reverse, just like the new $100 bill that is slated to be released some time this year? I think it would be a great idea, and as long as we are keeping the $1 bill, that denomination should also be redesigned with at least all of the features that the redesigned $2 bill would share.

Also, should these large numerals for the visually impaired all be golden in color, like the huge numeral 100, on the new $100 bill, or should they be different colored numerals for each denomination, as long as they are a dark, visible color, such as like the current $5 bill's huge purple 5, but vertcally placed, instead of horizontal?

I like the idea of the vertical bills. Since people are living longer and longer the large numbers make sense. We could utilize the plastic (mylar?) in the middle with a hologram of an eagle or president. Modern yet classic.

I don't like the idea of vertical bills. I just like the idea of a large vertical numeral to the right of the reverse of the bill like the new $100 bill, only, since the smaller denominations will have more space, I would want their low-vision numeral to still border the right side of their bill, but to be in the exact middle of that edge border. You know, not favoring the top or bottom corner of the bill, just right in the middle.

Maybe look at Switzerland, Costa Rica, Uganda etc. The current series are the worse design in the world currently.
