Another newp. This looks like a great coin BUT, I don't like the green spots. Any suggestions for removing the green junk on this coin?

Claudius II gothicus antoninianus.
2.67 g, 20.4 x 21.4 mm.
Obverse: Claudius II right. Reverse; Victory with wreath and palm branch left.

IGE, awesome, very nice details, the green is very hard,i find best just to leave it, not a big deal...

A hard to find type, especially with that level of detail.
Generally, leave the "green spots" alone.

They are not the result of Bronze Disease, but from this coin being amoungst others in a hoard, and getting this "encrustation".

It is part of its long history.

if it's hard and doesn't flake off fairly easilty, leave it alone. I dig it, green spots or no.
