The Pope is calling for a day of Fast and Prayer tomorrow to stop any war in Syria. Maybe not the perfect place to post but this is an active thread and prayer is a very strong force.

For what it's worth I'm still here  I take care of an elderly parent with alzheimer's disease and just won a disability case I've been helping a friend with after 10+ years and Federal Court all while keeping a day job so I don't always get to post into conversations while they are still relevant, coming from a law enforcement background I'm not easily stirred and enjoy everyone's contributions to this thread yup7676 Silverhawk74 basebal21 chris12018 everyone. This has got to be hands down one of the best threads going, full of knowledgeable passionate intelligent worldly experienced fill in the blank people. imho, you could not buy the knowledge education passion and emotion for pm's and the markets that have been expressed by everyone here. Yea I saw Angels comment and I was like "ummm ok"  . But hey whatever not like its rubs me the wrong way, this isn't the forum for that sort of thing but like I said, whatever. It is flattering tho that this thread reaches many and is viewed as reaching a heck of a lot of people. My hope is that general public can turn to this community and its resources and threads like this one and have a good look at PMs and avoid all the needless hype, confusion and pitfalls when you put money into PMs. My whole goal in starting this thread was so that folks here wouldn't get burned, that they safely put money to work and that they can get a simple easy to understand source,,,,, that the markets and PM's not need be some voodoo hoodoo complex area full of gibberish that confuses. I have kept it as simple as possible, adding only detail as its asked. This is the BEST way to understand markets... keeping it simple because really, the markets are simple and I hope you all have seen that PRICE is the BEST way, it is your lamp in the fog and mist, to cutting through all the BS and noise that is thrown around. Even the BEST market technicians will tell you that many times you need to clear up your chart and wipe everything down to just the bare necessities,,, less is more. Together, we can navigate the markets, avoid the pitfalls and have a leg up to whats going on, without any pressure, scare tactics or biases and hopefully we can all bank coin together on the way up AND down.... and when theres nothing to do, do nothing but wait. |

I'm itching to buy some gold bullion tonight I'm not sure what Pres is going to have to say on Tuesday..I don't know if we are going to rocket up in price a gap up and it's gonna be hard to swallow, I'm not ready yet yup7676 this waiting is killing me  I received my ATB Fort McHenry very nice and some 10oz from provident. |

Just a guess but I bet well see some upward movement in PMs that day just cus, I dont think it will be a permanent move though |

As soon as the US market opened up the PM's have taken a beating. Is this "insider Information" or simply manipulation so that there can be a bigger "Profit taking" IF the US sends missiles into Syria and the PM prices soar for a few days  |

@Trout: That is pretty standard lately. If you look at the past week silver hasn't done much during the trading day, instead it has been sharply up or down at opening.

@Ctguy- yes I know and understand being patient and sitting out is a hard thing to do. However, as of right now, best would be to do nada. As far as what Obama says tues... remember whats KEY is the REACTION to what he says, not WHAT he says. That said, its clear Syria is viewed by the markets as a non-issue.
@trout- neither. What you are seeing is the chop and resistance silver and gold are running into at these price levels. Remember also, the first big gap down is being retested, the one from 4/15. So its no big surprise that prices are gyrating, this should be expected and normal.
What my eye is on, is can this big gap be entered, filled and closed? That will give us big clues going forward.
