I believe I payed too much($50) for my coin. What would you say is the grade of my coin and the associated worth?

this coin has been chemically treated at some point, I can see what appears to be some surface burns. Not sure what it would grade but I would value it at melt 18$. imho.

I wouldn't say it has been treated but it does look like it has been well handled and stored incorrectly. Hard to say without it in hand.

From the pics IMO I see tarnishing blemishes.

AU50
Nice reverse. The obverse shows "cabinet friction" wear rather than circulation wear.I agree with john517,it looks like it's been stored improperly.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

the overall strike of the coin is great, however due to cleaning or improper storage, the coin lost its value. Fair price of about $25. But, once again, the strike is great
